Benefits Of Being A Member Of The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce
- Membership Directory - A complete and current listing of our members are available online. Click on the members link to browse by business category, last name, or business name. A print out of our membership can obtained at the Chamber office.
- Advertising - You have the opportunity to place a flier in the newsletter, packet and place information at each seat at the full Chamber meeting at no charge.
- Web Listing - We provide a free listing on our web site.
- Membership Meeting and Luncheon - This is an opportunity to network with several other chamber members. The lunch is provided. The meetings are at The Meadows at 11:45 every 3rd Thursday of every month. Each month, we provide an interesting speaker as well as updates on Chamber news. We also have a drawing for money to be given away at these meetings. Our regular scheduled meeting in December is held the evening of the Annual Holiday Party in December. I
- Showcase your business/ Annual Bellevue Community Picnic - Every May the
Chamber holds the Bellevue Community Picnic. This event attracts 6000 to 8000 people per year. You will have an opportunity to showcase your business at a booth and hand out information about your business and you can be a sponsor for the event. This is a great way to support the Chamber along with get wonderful recognition for your company. Chamber members receive a discounted rate on booth rental.
- Golf Tournament - This is a wonderful opportunity to network with other chamber members and business representatives from all over the area. This takes place annually in the fall. You can play as an individual or pull together a team. You will be given the opportunity to sponsor this event with major sponsorships or hole sponsors.
- Newsletter - You will receive a monthly newsletter. In this letter you will have the opportunity to keep up with the latest information and announcements with the chamber. We also make available to you an opportunity to insert a flier in the newsletter (8 !/2 x 11 on regular paper). We can only put two fliers per month in the newsletter.
- Mixer - You have the opportunity to have a social mixer at your place of business. The only cost to you is the refreshments that you want to provide. We have up to 60 people who attend these mixers. They are held monthly. -This is a great opportunity to introduce your place of business and network. The chamber provides the advertising by fax, email and announcements in the newsletter. You will also be notified of mixers taking place at other places of business.
- Holiday Party - Each year we have a holiday party in place of the December meeting. This is a festive event that you won't want to miss. This is when the officers are installed and Citizen of The Year is awarded.
- Committee Member - You are encouraged to participate on a committee. We need your participation. Look over the committee list and let us know which committee you would like to be on. If you have any other suggestions for committee ideas, let us know.
- Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting - The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce will coordinate and advertise the grand opening and ribbon cutting for your place of business.
- Affordable Annual Membership Fee - We charge only $200 for Business
Memberships and $125 for affiliate memberships. You may also join for $125 as a non-business member. This is billed each on your membership anniversary date.
- Chamber Packets - We will help advertise your place of business by delivering and mailing these packets to all businesses in Bellevue, new residents of Bellevue, potential chamber members, apartments in Bellevue and realtors in Bellevue. You provide us with the fliers or whatever information you would like for us to place in the packet and we take care of the rest.
- Conference Room Availability - The conference room at the Chamber office is available to all chamber members at no charge. Contact the Chamber office in advance for reservations. It is complete with a 12 - foot conference table, seating for 12, flip chart, write on board, television, VCR and DVD.
- Member Mailing Labels - The chamber will provide mailing labels of all chamber members as needed. You provide the labels. (8.5x2 5/8) Same as Avery 5160/8160. 30 labels per page.
- Community Events - Each Chamber member is encouraged to participate in the community events such as the Fall Golf Tournament, Annual Picnic and Music Festival, Holiday In The Park,Bellevue Backyard Barbecue Cook-off in the fall, Health Fair, Career Day, Business Expo and any other events that may come up that we sponsor.
- Networking - Probably the single most important aspect of becoming a member of the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce is the networking availability. This will give you many opportunities to meet other business representatives in the area. Please use this valuable opportunity.
- Referrals To Your Business - It is our job to help you as a business in Bellevue and as a Chamber member. The Chamber office receives many calls daily from people asking for referrals in the Bellevue area. We will refer any appropriate calls to your business.
- 12 at 12 - At times the Chamber office will invited 12 Chamber members to lunch at the Chamber office. Lunch is provided and it is usually grilled hamburgers with all the toppings. This is a free and casual event. We keep the numbers to 12 in order for everyone to get to know each other. This is a fun event. You will be contacted by invitation.
- Breakfast Bytes - This takes place quarterly at the Chamber office. We provide finger food breakfast items. The Chamber invites about 15 Chamber members to come have breakfast, network and have a great time. This is held at 7:30 am. It is a very casual event. You will receive an invitation to this event.
Education Seminars - The Bellevue Chamber of Commerce offers free Educational seminars quarterly to all Chamber members. These seminars will offer you valuable information on how to market your business, increase sales, public relations, etc. Friday Afternoon Announcements From Chamber Members To Chamber Members - This is an excellent way to advertise and promote your business to all of the Bellevue Chamber members. Send your email advertisement to the Chamber office and this ad will go out in that Friday afternoon announcements at no charge.
